Flavours of success for food industry

Increasingly, the excellent taste and structure of a successful food product is created with the help of the Paulig Group's Industrial Flavourings division. The division, consisting of Lihel Oy (Finland), Ingredia AS (Norway) and Nordfalks Industri AB (Sweden), attends to its clients in the food industry in over 10 countries and is a leading operator in its field in the Nordic countries. The Industrial Flavourings division operates also in close association with Fuchs Gewurze Gmbh & Co, in which Paulig Group is a substantial shareholder. Fuchs is one of the major industrial flavourings producers in Europe.

The history of Ingredia dates back to 1951, when a Norwegian Bjorn Welin Larsen founded a flavourings company.  In 2005, the company joined Paulig Group and established its name as Ingredia AS.  In the future, Ingredia will focus more than before on the marketing and development of custom-made mixes..

The Industrial Flavourings division focuses primarily on serving meat processing and convenience food industries. The division's entire product line is manufactured in its own, Europe's most up-to-date, industrial flavourings plant in Saue, Estonia. These custom-made products are created from high quality raw materials, in cooperation with the customer. We provide a selection of 550 different raw materials and over 2000 products.

The close cooperation between Lihel, Ingredia and Nordfalks makes it possible to share the wide variety of flavours and the best know-how of each country. With the help of local product development and expertise, we are able to adapt our range of flavour offerings to the tastes of consumers in each country.

Our goal is to create innovative solutions that offer our customers a competitive advantage in taste, structure and profitability -
